Reimbursement for Trauma Physicians

Reimbursement options are available

The Emergency Physician Fund (EPF) is an additional benefit of Emergency Trauma Fund for the purpose of reimbursing physicians for treatment of uninsured and underinsured ER / trauma patients.  It is understood the crucial role trauma physicians play in a patient’s chance of survival.  Reimbursable services include the doctor’s billing associated with emergency visits and initial hospitalization directly related to the original trauma injury.  Follow up procedures may be eligible; EPF evaluates current cases and those up to three years old to determine whether necessary surgical intervention may be funded.
